Guys And Dolls
This remastered edition of the 1951 Decca Original Cast album of GUYS & DOLLS also contains four bonus tracks taken from the 1955 film starring Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and Jean Simmons. Music and lyrics composed by Frank Loesser. Principal cast includes: Robert Alda (Sky Masterson); Vivian Blaine (Miss Adelaide); Sam Levene (Nathan Detroit); Isabel Bigley (Sarah Brown); Stubby Kaye; Johnny Silver, Pat Rooney Sr., Douglas Deane. 1955 film soundtrack cast includes: Marlon Brando (Sky Masterson); Jean Simmons (Sarah Brown). Reissue producers: Brian Drutman, Denis McNamara. Recorded on December 3, 1950 and November 30, 1955. Originally released on Decca (8036). Includes original LP liner notes by Louis Untemeyer and reissue liner notes by Max O. Preeo and Brian Drutman. Digitally remastered by Greg Calbi (February, 2000). One of the great musicals of all time, GUYS & DOLLS has been produced countless times on stages from Broadway to Main Street, U.S.A. The mythical world of gamblers and gun molls seems never to lose its allure; the plight of Nathan Detroit and his bid to outdo the conniving Sky Mastersonis loaded with comedy, romance, and, most of all, music. Frank Loesser's songs turn common criminals into singing and dancing stars. Some of the most memorable Broadway songs are contained in Loesser's amazing score, including "A Bushel and Peck," "If I Were a Bell," and "Luck Be a Lady." And hearing Robert Alda and Sam Levene originate their roles as a couple of crooning hooligans makes this record an indispensable artifact. SKU: 4124403

Dance Into The Light
Personnel includes: Phil Collins (vocals, slide guitar, guitar, bagpipes, piano, keyboards, kalimba, drums); Amy Keys, Arnold McCuller (vocals); Brad Cole (keyboards); Nathan East (bass). Collins, the avatar of '80s and '90s nice-guy pop, has endeared himself to millions with his earnest lyrics, lavish arrangements and guy-next-door persona. On DANCE INTO THE LIGHT, he goes worldwide, at least in a musical way. With its prominent African influence, DANCE INTO THE LIGHT represents Collins' first foray outside his American pop and R&B roots. Here, Collins' hook-laden pop takes a back seat to a more worldbeat-oriented sound. One gets the impression he's been holed up with GRACELAND and the complete works of former Genesis bandmate Peter Gabriel for the last year. The rhythms, horn lines and offhand lyrics of "Wear My Hat" recall Paul Simon's "I Know What I Know,"while his cover of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'" sounds like a combination of Gabriel's "Biko" and "Solsbury Hill." Collins maintains an overall sound consistent with his previous albums, but the focus has shifted from melody to groove. The supple polyrhythms of the title cut find him working hard to disprove the title of his old Genesis hit "I Can't Dance." SKU: 1000180

Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium [PA]
Rage Against The Machine: Zach de la Rocha (vocals); Tom Morello (guitar); Tim Commerford (bass); Brad Wilk (drums). Recorded live at Grand Olympic Stadium, Los Angeles, Californnia, on November 12 & 13, 2000. Before vocalist Chris Cornell (ex-Soundgarden) joined forces with the displaced instrumentalists of Rage Against the Machine to form Audioslave, RATM were among the most revered acts in heavy rock. The band has since faded into the annals of rock history, having left an indelible mark, and their unmistakable sound has often been copied but never duplicated. This live album (originally planned as a two-disc set with the cover album RENEGADES), harnesses the energy and raw emotion that was an RATM concert, centered around Zach de la Rocha's unabashed social commentary, via stylish and oftenpoetic rhyming. On these 2000 performances, classic tracks were imbued with Zach's timely worldview, as "Killing in the Name" has its famous mantra morphed to "some of those that burn crosses/are the same that hold office," while the band precisely pummels its instruments. On "Freedom" (originally written to champion the cause of Leonard Peltier), de la Rocha chants "Free Mumia," in reference to his support of Mumia Abu-Jamal. LIVE is a final testament to the greatness of this groundbreaking group, having special significance as the final performances of RATM, recorded in the band's hometown of Los Angeles. SKU: 6541001

Hard Road, A
Personnel: John Mayall (vocals, guitar, harmonica, piano, organ); Peter Green (vocals, guitar, harmonica); John McVie (bass); Mick Fleetwood, Aynsley Dunbar (drums); Paul Butterfield. Producers: Mike Vernon, John Mayall. Compilation producer: Bill Levenson. Recorded between 1966 & 1968. Includes liner notes by John Mayall, Scott Schinder. This is part of Universal's "Blues Classics" series. Following Eric Clapton's departure after the magnificent Bluesbreakers album, Mayall plugged the gap with Peter Green. Little did anyone know (except Green) that he would almost equal Clapton in the minds of fans and the cogniscenti. Two instrumentals on this collection, Freddie King's "The Stumble" and Green's "The Super-Natural", clearly demonstrate the clean sound of his Gibson Les Paul. The line-up is completed by bassistJohn McVie and Aynsley Dunbar on drums. Ex-commercial artist Mayall also designed and painted the cover, which itself is a fine piece of art-work and is probably rotting in some printer's basement, long forgotten. The remastered CD reissue is quite superb. SKU: 3100402

Live Cream Vol.1 [Remastered]
Cream: Eric Clapton (guitar, vocals); Jack Bruce (bass, harmonica, vocals); Ginger Baker (drums). Producers: Felix Pappalardi, Ahmet Ertegun, Robert Stigwood. Engineers: Adrian Barber, Tom Dowd, Bill Halverson. Recorded live at Fillmore West on March 7, 1968 and Winterland from March 9-10, 1968, San Francisco, California; "Lawdy Mama" was recorded in May 1967 at Atlantic Studios, New York City, NewYork. All tracks have been digitally remastered. During the brief three years that Cream was together, it set the standard for future blues-rock power trios by redefining the role of each corner of this musical triangle. While the traditional route was to have only the guitarist take a solo, the instrumental prowess of both Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce meant that a degree of improvisation was possible from all corners. Nowhere was this more evident than in a live setting as ably demonstrated by the four performances included on LIVE CREAM. Taken from some 1968 dates recorded at Winterland and Fillmore West, Clapton, Bruce and Baker all play with a ferocity that makes Jack Bruce's ten-minute version of "N.S.U." fly by. Bruce's other collaborations with co-writer Janet Godfrey, "Sleepy Time Time" and "Sweet Wine" show off his honeyed singing style while allowing Clapton to indulge his blues jones and Cream to flex its improvisational muscle. Coupled with a straight reading of Muddy Waters' "Rollin' And Tumblin'" taken from a Fillmore West performance is a previously unreleased studio recording of the traditional "Lawdy Mama" later re-written as "Strange Brew," a Cream original. Clinch Mountain Country
Personnel includes: Ralph Stanley; Shelton Feazell, Jack Cooke, John Rigsby (vocals); Bob Dylan, Marty Stuart (guitar); Ricky Skaggs (mandolin); Laurie Lewis (fiddle); Mike Bub (bass); Hal Ketchum, Patty Loveless, George Jones, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, Claire Lynch, Judy Marshall, David Marshall, Joe Diffie, Gillian Welch, Ralph Stanely II, Rhonda Vincent, Diamond Rio, Jeff Raybon, Marty Raybon, Doug Phelps, John Anderson, Alison Krauss, Junior Brown, Connie Smith, Tim O'Brien, Porter Wagoner, Joe Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs, Becky Isaacs, Vern Gosdin, Jim Lauderdale, The Whites, BR5-49, Kathey Mattea. Principally recorded at Masterlink Studios, Nashville, Tennessee from May-December, 1997. Includes liner notes by Chris Skinker. CLINCH MOUNTAIN COUNTRY was nominated for a 1999 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. Ralph Stanley and producer BilVornDick assembled a small galaxy of musical stars to make CLINCH MOUNTAIN COUNTRY one of the biggest all-star bluegrass recording sessions ever. The list of performers reads as a Who's Who that stretches the gamut of American pop music, including George Jones, Bob Dylan, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam, BR5-49, Gillian Welch and others. This two-disc collection of bluegrass standards is lovingly performed by artists who have clearly been influenced--even defined--by Ralph Stanley's legacy. (Many consider Stanley to be the heart of soul of bluegrass music.) There are plenty of stellar performances on CLINCH MOUNTAIN COUNTRY. Patty Loveless turns in an excellent version of the chilling, traditional murder ballad, "Pretty Polly," while Porter Wagoner offers a splendid rendition of "The White Dove," a Carter Stanley song that Wagoner first sang as a child. But perhaps the most memorable tracks on this excellent document of a bluegrass legend are "Thy Burdens Are Greater Than Mine" and "My Deceitful Heart," where Stanley and his son, Ralph Stanley II, share vocals. Do You Think About Me
The Waco Brothers: Deano, Jonboy (guitar, vocals); Tracey Dear (mandolin, vocals); Durante (steel guitar); Alan Sprocket Doughty (bass); Leopard Boy Goulding (drums). Additional personnel: John Rice (fiddle); Dave Max Crawford, Paul Mertens (horns); Tom Ray (acoustic bass); John "Brenny" Brennan (bass). Engineers: Kenny Sluiter, Baron Von Trumfio, Mike Hagler. The Waco Brothers were on a roll in 1997, releasing two of their best albums (this and COWBOY IN FLAMES) within months of each other. A perfect companion piece to COWBOY IN FLAMES, DO YOU THINK ABOUT ME continues to explore the socially-conscious cowpunk territory the band staked out on its debut album, but with a few new twists. The horn section on the title song adds a touch of early-'70s Stones, and a savage take on Neil Young's "Revolution Blues" reveals that the Wacos' influencesextend beyond Nashville. The agile Western Swing-style steel guitar of "Hard Times" and the folkie pining of "Arizona Rose" show that the band is still headed down the distinctive and rewarding track on which they began. October
U2: Bono (vocals); The Edge (guitar, piano); Adam Clayton (bass); Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums). Recorded at Windmill Lane, Dublin, Ireland in July and August 1981. Originally released on Island (90092). Though it's probably one of their least-acclaimed albums, OCTOBER is where it all began to come together for U2. The youthful exuberance they demonstrated on BOY was now a given, but for this, their second album, the conceptual end of thingsbegan to coalesce as well. The Edge had begun to expand his sonic palette, and the heavily-effected approach that he would rely on for the next several years came to full fruition here. There's further development of the bold, anthemic approach that would come to characterize the band's arrangements, and the songwriting is just plain better. Most affecting, and indicative of the group's progress is the emotional epic "Gloria," full of resounding major chords and throbbing rhythms, it's simultaneously an open admission of self-doubt and a call to arms to embrace life's uncertainties. This contrast is what makes OCTOBER, along with much of U2's early work, so effective. SKU: 1004816

Business As Usual [ECD] [Remastered]
EPMD: Erick Sermon, Parrish "PMD" Smith (vocals). Additional personnel includes: LL Cool J (vocals). The third album from EPMD, BUSINESS AS USUAL, is the duo's most aptly titled album ever. In 1991, when the album was originally released, EPMD was making a solid claim at becoming one of hip-hop's greatest acts. After two straight gold albums and an ever-growing fan base, BUSINESS AS USUAL could not have been released with better timing. Hard-core tracks such as "I'm Mad,""Gold Digger," and "Manslaughter" firmly entrenched EPMD at the top of the hip-hop food chain. By this time, EPMD had won over its fans by delivering over and over again the typical trunk-funk tracks that they had come to expect. Vocally, the green-eyed bandit and PMD are both on point as usual. The killer cut "Rampage" has a guest appearance from LL Cool J. BUSINESS AS USUAL is just that. SKU: 1032716

MUSIC FOR LOVING: BEN WEBSTER WITH STRINGS: Personnel includes: Ben Webster (tenor saxophone); Ralph Burns (conductor); Billy Strayhorn (conductor, piano); Al Epstein (English horn, flute, clarinet); Danny Bank (flute, clarinet, bass clarinet); Tony Scott, Jimmy Hamilton (clarinet); David Novales, Mischa Russell, Leo Kruczek, Jack Zayde, Harry Lookofsky, Tosha Samaroff (violin); Richard Dickler, Burt Fisch (viola); Rudolph Sims, Bernard Greenhouse, Abram Borodkin, George Ricci, Lucien Schmit (cello); Teddy Wilson, Hank Jones (piano); George Duvivier, Chet Amsterdam, Ray Brown (bass); Louie Bellson, Osie Johnson, Jo Jones (drums). Principally recorded at Fine Sound, New York between May 28, 1954 and September 9, 1955. Originally released as MUSIC WITH FEELING on Norgran (1039) and as MUSIC FOR LOVING on Norgran (1018). HARRY CARNEY WITH STRINGS: Personnel: Harry Carney (baritone saxophone, bass clarinet); Jimmy Hamilton (tenor saxophone, clarinet); Ray Nance (trumpet, violin); Tony Miranda (French horn); Mac Ceppos, Martin Donegan, Ben Gerrard, Howard Kay, Eugene Orloff,Sylvan Shulman, Zelly Smirnoff, Isadore Zir (violin); Sidney Edwards, Doris Johnson, Alan Shulman (cello); Leroy Lovett (piano); Billy Bauer (guitar); Wendell Marshall (bass); Louie Bellson (drums). Recorded at Fine Sound, New York on December 13, 1954. Originally released on Clef (640). Reissue producer: Michael Lang. Originally released as three separate LPs. Includes liner notes by Loren Schoenberg. Following in the footsteps of his idol Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster's corpus of work has stood up to the test of time. His lyrical sound has made him one of the great tenor saxophone masters in jazz history. On MUSIC FOR LOVING, Webster plays mostly ballads, the style in which Webster feels most comfortable and sounds best. His smoky, romantic sound is perfect for tunes such as "Prelude to a Kiss" and "(I Don't Stand) a Ghost of a Chance (With You)." MUSIC FOR LOVING (recorded in 1954-1955) is a two-CD set featuring accompaniment by a lush string section with arrangements by Ralph Burns. Five previously unissued alternate takes, five quartet numbers (four with the Teddy Wilson Trio), and eight tracks showcasing baritone Harry Carney are also included. SKU: 1000606

All Mod Cons [Remastered]
The Jam: Paul Weller (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, piano, harmonica); Bruce Foxton (vocals, bass); Rick Buckler (drums, percussion). Producers: Vic Coppersmith-Heaven, Chris Parry. After the success of their first two albums (IN THE CITY and THIS IS THE MODERN WORLD) within the span of barely a year-and-a-half, the Jam was not as pleased as it should have been. They had been extremely successful, but clearly the band (especially Weller), was chafing at being pigeonholed as "mod" revivalists. While the Jam's first two albums were clearly influenced by the mod movement of the early '60s, Weller was far too clever a songwriter to stick to the limitations of any one genre. ALL MOD CONS is the sound not just of an English youth movement, but of an English musical tradition of literate songcraft epitomized by writers such as Ray Davies of the Kinks, whose classic song "David Watts" is covered here. Weller's usual bombast is herein subsumed by gentler, more rhapsodic concerns, and he even manages a credibly gentle love balled in "English Rose." Of course the band still offers its share of unadulterated "rock" songs, but on ALL THE MOD CONS the lyrics are more likely to address the problems of English racism ("Down In The Tube Station At Midnight") than simple boy-girl dilemmas. This album marks the maturation of a brilliant songwriter. SKU: 1002709

Van Halen: Sammy Hagar (vocals); Eddie Van Halen (guitar, keyboards); Michael Anthony (bass); Alex Van Halen (drums, percussion). Recorded at 5150 Studios, Hollywood, California. In the late '80s, both Van Halen and David Lee Roth were at their commercial peaks, with the two camps competing fiercely against each other for Top 10 dominance. While lacking the overall crunch of earlier albums, OU812 does take the band into credible pop/electronic territory. Showing that party rock can grow and develop, the album contains some premium musicianship. "Mine All Mine" features Ed Van Halen's continued use of synthesizers and is an introspective tune about believing in one's self. "When It's Love" is a catchy power ballad that continued the band's streak of Top 10 hits, along with "Finish What Ya Started," with its good-natured country licks. "Feels So Good," a 180-degree turn from the heavy rock of the band's early days, is a keyboard-driven pop ditty. The band doesn't totally stray from itsroots though, as "Black And Blue" is a greasy, bluesy salute to an active sex life. SKU: 5048842

Live In Europe
Creedence Clearwater Revival: John Fogerty, Stu Cook (vocals, guitar); Doug Clifford (vocals, drums). Recorded during Creedence Clearwater's tour of Europe, from September 4 to 28, 1971. Digitally remastered directly from the original analog master tapes by George Horn (Fantasy Studios, Berkeley). John Fogerty and his bandmates were remarkably prolific, achieving more between 1969 and 1971 than most groups do in decades. By the timethis document of their 1971 European tour was recorded, the seemingly unstoppable hit machine of CCR was beginning to slow down, and ultimately wouldn't make it to the next year. This then, is one of the band's final moments of glory. Virtually all of the group's hits are here, from the Chuck Berryesque "Travelin' Band" to the righteous anger of "Fortunate Son" and the rootsy fatalism of "Bad Moon Rising." Outside the studio confines, the bands roots rock is even rawer, with Fogerty wailing like a bluesy banshee and Doug Clifford and Stu Cook bashing out the rhythm like there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately for all of us, there wasn't. SKU: 1014008

Golden Grain [PA]
Disturbing Tha Peace: Shawnna, Ludacris, Tity Boi, I-20, Lil' Fate (rap vocals). Additional personnel includes: Too Short, Scarface, Dolla Boy, Twista, Chimere, Jazze Pha, Mystikal (rap vocals); Craig Love (various instruments); DJ Jay-Cee (vinyl scratches). Producers include: Mixzo, P. King, Icedrake, DJ Nasty, Craig Love. In the tradition of Nelly's St. Lunatics and Eminem's D12, Atlanta's favorite rapper Ludacris has marshaled his forces to oversee the release of an album featuring his own crew Disturbing Tha Piece. Though he's credited as a producer on GOLDEN GRAIN and appears as a guest on severaltracks, Ludacris hasn't put this endeavor together for his own greater glory, but rather to present the distinctive talents of the five young rappers who make up Disturbing Tha Piece. That said, the styles and themes of Jay Cee, I-20, the colorfully named Tity Boi, and the rest of the crew, are not a million miles away from that of their mentor. As in the work of Ludacris, GOLDEN GRAIN offers a consistent mix of R&B/pop hooks propelling rhymes that achieve just the right mix of street-real gangsta scenarios and celebratory, sideways-grinning party manifestos. Best Of Traffic, The
Traffic: Steve Winwood (vocals, guitar, piano, harpsichord, bass, percussion) Dave Mason (vocals, guitar, Mellotron, bass); Chris Wood (vocals, flute, saxophone, organ); Jim Capaldi (vocals, drums, percussion). This is the best of Traffic from the band's first three albums (their debut MR. FANTASY, the self-titled second album, and LAST EXIT). Thereafter they disbanded, only to soon reform and continue with an ever-changing line-up around mainstays Steve Winwood, Jim Capladi and Chris Wood. The period covered on this collection is truly their best work. They created some strong, lasting material after this (including the popular JOHN BARLEYCORN MUST DIE), but these eleven songs find them at their purest--with each track full of wonder and a sense of newness. The proceedings are tinged with the gentle, folkish psychedelia of the late '60s. Nobody else has ever sounded like Traffic circa this era. This is a recommended entry point for anyone unfamiliar with their first albums. For a broader picture, try the two-CD set SMILING PHASES, which charts the entirety of their career. SKU: 1015312

Mirror Man (The Mirror Man Sessions/Remastered)
Full performer name: Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band. Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band: Captain Beefheart (vocals, harmonica); Alex St. Caire Snoufer, Antennae Jimmy Simmons (guitar); Jerry Handsley (bass); John "Drumbo" French (drums). Recorded in Los Angeles, California in 1965. Originally released on Performance (156). Includes liner notes by John Platt and three poems by Don Van Vliet. More than 30 years after these tracks were recorded, the MIRROR MAN SESSIONS are finally being released in the manner of Don Van Vliet's original vision. Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band were always going through personnel changes, but the group was especially in flux during 1967. SAFE AS MILK had just been issued, and the band began recording a follow-up, planned as a double-album. But the following year saw the Captain and his Band dropped by their label (Buddah). Some of the slated songs (supplemented with electronic effects) became STRICTLY PERSONAL, released byBlue Thumb Records. Buddah followed suit, venturing into its vaults, choosing four extended songs, and packaging them as MIRROR MAN-obscuring facts by billing the album as "live recordings from 1965." This reissue adds five additional numbers, all of which show the band at an evolutionary point midway between the delta blues of its first recordings and the layered rhythmic stew of TROUT MASK REPLICA. THE MIRROR MAN SESSIONS is an essential document of an important ensemble. SKU: 1026585

Deep
Personnel includes: Peter Murphy (vocals). The Hundred Men: Paul Statham (guitar, keyboards); Perer Bonas (guitar); Eddie Branch (bass); Teri Bryant (drums). Peter Murphy's 1989 solo album gained him an even wider audience. Aided by the boom in alternative radio outlets, Murphy reached a demographic too young toremember his old band, Bauhaus. Luckily, this exposure was not wasted, as DEEP delivers the goods. Continuing in Murphy's usual dramatic and melodic style, "Marlene Dietrich's Favorite Poem" provides DEEP with a new romantic flair. Surprisingly radio-friendly, "Cuts You Up" and "A Strange Kind of Love" rival the pop genius of "Indigo Eyes." There are some harder tracks here, too--"The Line Between the Devil's Teeth" howls and screeches in Bauhaus style, while "Roll Call" and its "Reprise" show Murphy experimenting with tribal house beats and gothic/eastern samples. Peter Murphy's strongest solo effort to date, DEEP delivers a fix for fans of both old and new style Peter Murphy. SKU: 1036667

Ballads And Blues
BALLADS & BLUES compiles ballads and slow blues that Miles Davis recorded for Capitol and Blue Note between 1950 and 1958. Personnel: Miles Davis (trumpet); Cannonball Adderley, Lee Konitz (alto saxophone); Jimmy Heath (tenor saxophone); Gerry Mulligan (baritone saxophone); J.J. Johnson (trombone); Gunther Schuller (French horn); John Barber (tuba); Gil Coggins, Hank Jones, Horace Silver (piano); Percy Heath, Sam Jones, Al McKibbon, Oscar Pettiford (bass); Art Blakey, Kenny Clarke, Max Roach (drums). Producers: Alfred Lion, Pete Rugolo. Compilation producer: MichaelCuscuna. Engineers: Doug Hawkins, Rudy Van Gelder. Recorded in New York, New York on March 9, 1950; WOR Studios, New York, New York on May 9, 1952 & April 20, 1953; the Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, New Jersey on March 6, 1954 & March 9, 1958. Compiled from Davis' famous BIRTH OF THE COOL recording sessions, as well as three mid-1950's Blue Note sessions and the 1958 SOMETHIN' ELSE session with Cannonball Adderly, BALLADS & BLUES illustrates the fresh new sound Davis was moving on to around the time bebop was coming to an end. These songs are pulled out of context (they were originally grouped with more up-tempo bebop tunes) to illustrate their newness as well as Davis' developing artistry on his trumpet. By the end of the 1950s, his style would come to epitomize a sophisticated kind of cool. The songs have slow tempos and wide spaces for Davis to play with, especially 1950's "Moon Dreams," which features an orchestra's worth of brass accompanying Davis, and Davis' classic "Weirdo." LD 50 [PA]
Mudvayne: Greg "Gurrg" Tribbett (vocals, guitar); Chad "Kud" Gray (vocals); Ryan Martinie (bass); Matthew "Spag" McDonough (drums). Recorded at Warehouse Studio, Vancouver, British Colombia. L.D. 50 is the scientific measurement used to determine the relative lethal dosage of a toxic substance. Thus, it's an entirely appropriate title for the major-label debut of these decidedly toxic troublemakers. While these heavy rockers churn out gut-wrenching guitar riffs, pounding drumbeats, and snarling vocals aplenty, they'refar from humorless. The pulverizing effect of their sonic attack is undeniable, but they're essentially clowns at heart. This is discernible not only in their Kiss-in-the-21st century makeup, but also in the light-hearted sci-fi themes that crop up, as on the 2001-inspired "Monolith." And while Mudvayne charges fiercely enough to give any grindcore band a run for its money, they incorporate enough interesting electronic production touches to keep L.D. 50 from ever getting aurally monotonous.
