Finally Woken
Debut album from Jem Griffiths, Welsh singer-songwriter and erstwhile Skint Records promoter. Marrying funky electronic beats and a slick RnB style production sound with contemporary, commercial pop songwriting, the result comes off sounding like a cross between Dido (to whom Griffiths bears more than a passingvocal resemblance) and the trip hop-lite of groups like Morcheeba or Sneaker Pimps. Includes the single 'They'. SKU: 6565988

Elvis' Golden Records Vol.4 [Remastered]
Personnel includes: Elvis Presley (vocals); The Jordanaires (background vocals). Producers: Felton Jarvis, Steve Sholes, Chet Atkins. Compilation producers: Ernst Mikael Jorgensen, Roger Semon. Includes liner notes by Colin Escott. All tracks have been digitally remastered. "Ain't That Loving You Baby" was recorded in 1958. The remainder of the singles compiles on ELVIS' GOLD RECORDS VOL 4 were recorded between 1960 and 1967. Periodically throughout Presley's lifetime, RCA Records would compile Elvis' most recent best-selling records and release them on a GOLDEN RECORDS greatest hits package. VOLUME 4 is the fourth of five such records, covering Elvis' career between 1962 and 1966. Although many rock fans disparage Presley's work during these years--primarily because this erais identified with the King's many sub-par movie soundtrack albums--the recordings on VOLUME 4 stand alongside the best of Presley's work. High points include a cover of Ray Charles' "What'd I Say," the impassioned R&B ballad "It Hurts Me," and the top five hit "You're the Devil in Disguise." The twelve-track CD version of GOLDEN RECORDS VOLUME 4 is a digitally remastered edition of the 1968 album. It was released in 1990 and is still in print; however, this title was also reissued in 1997 at a higher list price with improved liner notes, another round of digital remastering, and--most importantly--six additional tracks, all of which were big hits (among them "Return to Sender" and "Viva Las Vegas"). Greatest Hits Vol.1 1971-1975
The Eagles: Bernie Leadon (vocals, guitar, banjo); Glenn Frey (vocals, guitar, piano); Don Felder (vocals, guitar); Randy Meisner (vocals, bass); Don Henley (vocals, drums). Producers: Glyn Johns, Bill Szymczyk. Engineers: Glyn Johns, Bill Szymczyk, Allen Blazek. The Eagles are, without a doubt, one of the most influential American bands of all time. Direct from L.A., these musicians brought together various influences and melded them into a sound that established a new musical direction in both rock and country. The songs on this "best of" compilation cover the Eagles' early years (pre-HOTEL CALIFORNIA) and they pack a wallop. From the spooky, Native American-influenced "Witchy Woman" to the mournful folk-rock gem "Desperado," the collection is almost a primer on how to write a country-rock song. Whether it's the opening guitars driving the beat of "Take It Easy" or the lilting melody of "Best Of My Love," the Eagles' tight harmonies, smooth lead vocals and masterful musicianship enable THEIR GREATEST HITS to play like a jukebox in country-rock heaven. The songs are also stylistically diverse: The Grammy-winning "Lyin' Eyes" is pure Eagles pop; "One Of These Nights," with its slippery bass line, is a Steely Dan-like rock-jazz track; "Tequila Sunrise" has a steel guitar and Latin beat subtle enough to lull any hangover. The songs' themes range from anger to bliss, with longing in the forefront and an outlaw sensibility in the shadows. Not too traditional to turn off rock and folk fans, and not so slick that country aficionados would bolt, the Eagles' repertoire is solid, memorable and expertly produced. Lyrically ("...don't let the sound of your ownwheels drive you crazy...") and musically, these are songs that have become a vital part of the musical lexicon. SKU: 1053647

Toya
Personnel includes: Toya (vocals); Penelope, Murphy Lee, Loon, T.I. (rap vocals); Soulshock, Karlin (various instruments); Michael Wideman (guitar, bass); David Frank (keyboards, drums); Debra Killings,Jasper Cameron, Deanga Sutton, Nathan Bulter, Michelle Bell, Jean Carne, Ericka Yancey, Teron Beal (background vocals). Producers include: Dallas Awesome, David Frank, Bam, Ryan Bowser, Toya. Engineers include: Carlton Lynn, Ryan Freeland, Pete Karam. Anyone watching the pop charts in the first couple of years of the 21st century could have been forgiven for thinking the onslaught of single-named young R&B/pop sirens endless. The arrival of Toya's self-titled debut album would probably do little to disprove such notions. Those old enough to remember '80s UK popster Toyah Wilcox probably won't be confused by this youngster's moniker, because they're squarely out of the target audience. TOYA is aimed more at the Monica/Brandy/Britney crowd, and the mixture of pop hooks, R&B production, and hip-hop beats over which the young songstress emotes will surely appeal to fans of the aforementioned teen sensations. A sprightly mood prevails throughout, and Toya's vocal style is accordingly breezy; no angst-ridden melisma here, just fun-loving, celebratory tunes that make good use of this lass's pliable voice. New Folk Sound Of Terry Callier, The [Remastered]
Personnel: Terry callier (vocals, acoustic guitar); Terbour Attenborough, John Tweedle (bass). Recorded at Webb Studios, Chicago, Illinois on July 29, 1964. Originally released on Prestige (7383). Includes liner notes by Rent Foreman. Nowadays, people know different. But when Terry Callier's first album sneaked out to little fanfare in the mid '60s, he was still Chicago's best-kept secret. It would be some time before hehad an opportunity to fully exploit his soul and jazz influences. Callier's youthful voice, backed sympathetically here by his acoustic guitar plus two basses, was a strikingly androgynous instrument--sounding like a smooth, steady Nina Simone minus the simmering anger. Over eight songs, four of them traditional, Callier's relaxed air belies his tender years. His calm presence turns the yearning "900 Miles" into a thing of haunting beauty. Selections such as "Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be" and "Cotton Eyed Joe" are the real oddities, however, even in the remarkably varied Callier canon. Certainly the riff-driven "It's About Time" shows its teeth, a warm-hearted plea for peace more familiar to Callier converts. In hindsight, THE NEW FOLK SOUND doesn't look unhappy in the company of early Buckley, Hardin, et al. On its own merits, there is much more than mere curiosity value to recommend it. False starts are rarely so engaging. SKU: 1086411

I Just Dropped By To Say Hello [Remastered]
Personnel: Johnny Hartman (vocals); Illinois Jacquet (tenor saxophone); Hank Jones (piano); Kenny Burrell; Jim Hall (guitar); Milt Hinton (bass); Elvin Jones (drums). Reissue producer: Michael Cuscuna. Recorded on October 9 & 17, 1963. Includes liner notes by Sid Mark. Digitally remastered by Erick Labson (MCA Music Media Studios). Over the years, Johnny Hartman had worked with big bands and small combos, interpreting everything from romantic pop to elegant jazz--without achieving the star status his talent so richly deserved. So behind all the debonair trappings of I JUST DROPPED BY TO SAY HELLO, one can detect a certain world weariness. Which only adds to the after-hours mystique that makes I JUST DROPPED BY TO SAY HELLO one of the great jazz vocal recitals. Everything clicks--from the cat-like brushwork of Elvin Jones and the lyric refinement of brother Hank Jones, to the rock-solid bass-lines of Milt Hinton and the bluesy romantic machismo of tenor giant Illinois Jacquet. Hartman's accompanists aren't simply hired hands--they're a band. Just listen to Jacquet's epic testimony on "Stairway To The Stars," guitarist Jim Hall's probing counterpoint on "Charade," or the Jones brothers' brilliant coda to the title tune--the group rapport is telepathic. Hartman intones silky phrases over a montundo groove on Henry Mancini's "Charade," moving to easy swing paraphrases in the bridge, and descending into his deepest register, twisting suggestively at the final syllables. Where Sinatra's classic "In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning" is a study in pathos, Hartman mines the tune for its sweet vein of romanticism. The title tune and "Stairway To The Stars" illustrate Hartman's gifts for balladry and theatrical gestures, as he moves easily between his upper and lowerregisters, between cool recitatives and smooth phrasing, minus the glib, corny vibrato of too many faux romantics. Here, Hartman shows he is the genuine article. SKU: 1019794

South Of Heaven
Slayer: Tom Araya (vocals, bass); Jeff hanneman, Kerry King (guitar); Dave Lombardo (drums). Recorded in Los Angeles, California. With 1986's REIGN IN BLOOD, Slayer reached the pinnacle of its rapid-fire, speed metal style. For the band's next effort, instead of embracing its hardcore roots even further, the band retraced its metal influences, namely Black Sabbath. 1988's SOUTH OF HEAVEN surprised many fans because it contained several mid-paced, dirge-like compositions that spotlighted metal's crunch over punk's reckless energy. Tom Araya's lyrics still addressed controversial subjects, while another piece of gruesome artwork graced the album's cover. Despite it all, Slayer's ardent following embraced the album, eventually propelling SOUTH OF HEAVEN to gold-certification in the U.S. The twin-guitar team of Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman is again well equipped with an arsenal of killer riffs, while drummer Dave Lombardo shows why many consider him to be one of metal's all-time best. In the past, Araya penned lyrics that dealt with such controversial topics as Nazism (REIGN IN BLOOD's "Angel of Death") and serial killers (SEASONS IN THE ABYSS's "Dead Skin Mask"). Araya continues the trend on SOUTH OF HEAVEN with "Silent Scream," a track about abortion. Other gory tracks include the grinding title track, "Mandatory Suicide," and a cover of JudasPriest's "Dissident Aggressor." SKU: 1071395

Personnel: Charles Mingus (bass); Eric Dolphy, Charles McPherson, Charlie Mariano, Buddy Collette (alto saxophone); Zoot Sims, George Berg (tenor saxophone); Jerome Richardson, Pepper Adams (baritone saxophone); Snooky Young, Ernie Royal, Richard Williams, Clark Terry, Eddie Armour, Lonnie Hilyer, Rolf Ericson (trumpet); Quentin Jackson, Britt Woodman, Jimmy Cleveland, Willie Dennis, Eddie Bert, Paul Faulise (trombone); Romeo Penque (oboe); Danny Bank (contrabass clarinet); Warren Smith (vibraphone, percussion); Jaki Byard, Toshiko Akiyoshi (piano); Les Spann (guitar); Milt Hinton (bass); Dannie Richmond (drums); Grady Tate (percussion). Recorded at Town Hall, New York, New York on October 12, 1963. This is the complete concert released in its entirety for the first time. Originally released in an edited form on United Artists Records in 1963. Until recently, this concert was considered a low point in Charles Mingus' career. He had convinced the record company to let him record with a 30-piece band but hadn't completed the necessary amount of writing, and the concert had been inexplicably billed as an open recording session with an invited audience, as opposed to a performance recorded for posterity. Add to this sound problems onstage and the unveiling of some of Mingus' most ambitious work and you've got an unusual evening of music to say the least. But this reissue, which contains previously unreleased alternate takes and remastered material shows that the evening was far more successful than previously conceived. THE COMPLETE TOWN HALL CONCERT is most noteworthy for the partial performance of Mingus' suite "Epitaph", whose completed score was discovered after Mingus' death and which was finally performed in its entirety at Alice Tully Hall in 1989. Many consider "Epitaph" to be Mingus' finest composition. Listening to its germination, as well as the other music on this date, is a rich and rewarding experience. SKU: 5068642

So Damn Happy
Personnel includes: Aretha Franklin (vocals); Mary J. Blige (background vocals). Producers include: Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Barry Eastmond, Gordon Chambers. Aretha Franklin released only two newalbums in the 1990s, but 2003 saw a flurry of activity, with Franklin putting out both the gospel album ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM and this secular R&B disc. Her voice sounds as vibrant as ever, and most of the songs have a joyful feel that's no doubt influenced by the depth of Franklin's faith. The soft-grooving "Wonderful" and the slow-burning soul of the title track bespeak an inner jubilance, but this album isn't emotionally monochromatic. She gracefully plumbs the depths of disillusionment on the Burt Bacharach-produced/penned slow-jam "Falling Out of Love" and the remonstrative "Ain't No Way," where she even references her legendary hit "Respect." Still, it's no accident that things close on a decidedly spiritual note with the celebratory "Good News" and a reprisal of "You Are my Joy," a wedding song that--like Aretha herself--seems to have a direct link to the divine. Hot Buttered Soul
Personnel: Isaac Hayes (vocals); The Bar-Kays. Producers: Al Bell, Marvell Thomas, Allen Jones. Digitally remastered by Joe Tarantino. A staff songwriter with the legendary Stax label, Isaac Hayes, with partner David Porter, composed material for many of the company's artists, including Sam And Dave, Carla Thomas and Johnnie Taylor. Frustratedwith this backroom role, he began recording in his own right, and with Hot Buttered Soul, redefined the notion of soul music. Although the tracks were lengthy, there was no sense of self-indulgence, each one evolving over sensual rhythms and taut arrangements. Hayes' vocal anticipated the 'rap' genre of Barry White and Millie Jackson without slipping into self-parody, lending an air of sophistication to a highly influential collection. SKU: 1004967

Second Helping
Cassette available on MCA (1686). NOTES: SECOND HELPING contains 3 bonus tracks. Lynyrd Skynyrd: Ronnie Van Zant (vocals); Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Ed King (guitar); Billy Powell (keyboards); Leon Wilkeson (bass); Bob Burns (drums). Recorded at the Record Plant, Los Angeles, California and Studio One, Doraville, Georgia in January 1974. Includes liner notes by Ron O'Brien. All tracks have been remastered. Also available with PRONOUNCED LEH'NERD SKIN'NERD on 1 cassette (MCA 6937). It was hard to believe that Lynyrd Skynyrd could possibly top its classic, near-perfect 1973 debut, PRONOUNCED LEH-NERD SKIN-NERD. However, the boys from Florida accomplished the near-impossible with their sophomore releaseone year later, SECOND HELPING. It's hard to determine the better album of the two, but both proved to be a solid one-two punch that made Lynyrd Skynyrd one of the '70s' biggest (and unfortunately, most tragic) rock bands. Skynyrd's early albums also helped define and create the Southern rock movement, as proven by such tracks as the classic anthem "Sweet Home Alabama" (which included the now-famous dig at Neil Young), the cautionary rocker "The Needle & the Spoon," and biographical tale of "Workin' For MCA." Got Live If You Want It
This is a Hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both Super Audio and regular CD players. The Rolling Stones: Mick Jagger (vocals); Brian Jones, Keith Richards (guitar, background vocals); Bill Wyman (bass); Charlie Watts (drums). Recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall, London, England on September 23,1966. By 1966 the Stones were becoming both more progressive in their conception and more adept in their musicianship. Though the studio recordings from this golden period are impeccable, nowhere is that growth more evident than on GOT LIVE IF YOU WANT IT. Recorded by Glyn Johns at London's Royal Albert Hall, this album shows the Stones as a powerful live unit, now capable of subtle emotional shadings as well as rock & roll raveups. The Stones pay homage to their roots with a version of "Not Fade Away" that easily rivals its studio cousin. But it's at the point where the Stones' musical trajectory veers off from the blues that things get really interesting. From the ominous "Under My Thumb" to the Elizabethan "Lady Jane" and the transcendent, Dylan-influenced "19th Nervous Breakdown," the band shows off its musical sophistication both compositionally and in spirited performances. An essential live document of one of the band's finest hours. SKU: 6510071

Amazing Jeckel Brothers, The
Insane Clown Posse: Shaggy 2 Dope, Violent J, Mike E. Clark. Additional personnel: Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, Ol' Dirty Bastard, The Jerky Boys. Recorded at The Funhouse, Detroit, Michigan. Having finished its stint as rapping escort for the wrestlers of the WWF, Insane Clown Posse now delivers a hiphop concept album. JECKEL BROTHERS isthe story of Jake The Just and Jack The Sinister. In a larger sense, it is about the conflict between good and evil within all of us. ICP are one part Cypress Hill, one part Biohazard, and one part Jerky Boys. The Posse lays bratty white-boy raps over super fat beats and samples, paying homage to the West Coast rap icons. A few albums into its reign, ICP has honed its style. The loud, crude JECKEL BROTHERS is a classic--a SGT. PEPPER'S of rock/rap. This is a hysterically funny and entertaining album. The band members wear theatrically painted clown makeup, a concept the band claims was ripped off for Kiss' PSYCHO CIRCUS. ICP even takes a potshot at that band's Gene Simmons on "Rize." Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J also share Kiss' penchant for marketing, and the CD even advertises ICP action figures. Although the ICP gives the finger to just about everyone on "F*ck The World", it seems this record will only earn more legions of converts for the ICP cause. SKU: 1070675

Me Against The World
Personnel: 2Pac, Dan O'Leary, Debbie Hambrick, Sarah Diamond, Jay Jensen, Jill Rose (vocals); Darryl Crooks, Eric "Kenya" Baker, Ronnie Vann (guitar); The Piano Man (keyboards); Stretch, Moe Z.M.D., Eboni Foster, Killa, Milia, L. Tyler, G. Money, Kim Armstrong, Kenyatta Forman, Reggie Green, Rah Rah, "Sweet Franklin" (background vocals); Thug Life, Dramacydal, Digital Underground, Lady Levi, Richard "Richie Rich" Serrell, Natasha Walker, Puff Johnson. Producers include: Tony Pizarro, Easy Mo B., SoulShock, Shock G, Moe Z.M.D. Engineers include: Tony Pizarro, Jay Lean, Paul Arnold. ME AGAINST THE WORLD was nominated for a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "Dear Mama" was nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance. Forget everything you've heard and assumed about rapper/actor 2Pac and think only of his music, which has always stood in the shadow of his lifestyle. ME AGAINST THE WORLD tries tomake sense of all the stormy events that have surrounded the gifted vocalist--transforming 2Pac into the "rap star" he's always yearned to be--and turns out to be his best work yet. ME AGAINST THE WORLD seriously connects the rapper with his audience by remaining "real." Although much of the public is already familiar with the all-too politicized/publicized life of Tupac Shakur, the album disputes their perception and serves as his halo. "If I Die 2Nite" couples 2Pac's intense thoughts with the flava-in-ya-ear sound provided by hip-hop super producer Easy Mo Bee. 2Pac softens his tone on "Dear Mama," celebrating the one woman who has stuck by him through it all. The album also focuses on issues known and experienced not only by this "hip-hop outlaw," but by those who share his lifestyle. Many "thugs" have lost their homies and struggled to keep themselves alive in the hood, and so has 2Pac; and his mourning is manifested on "So Many Tears," which is enhanced by a sample of Stevie Wonder's harmonica. "Can U Get Away" carefully alerts women involved in abusive relationships, and labels 2Pac as their saviour. Giving props to the New York rap scene, "Old School" is a tribute to the founders of hip-hop and reminisces about "how it was." Musically, the comfortable tracks help convey positive messages ("Young Niggaz"), and lyrically, 2Pac is, as always, on point. SKU: 5062645

Straight Shooter
Bad Company: Paul Rodgers (vocals, guitar); Mick Ralphs (guitar); Boz Burrell (bass); Simon Kirke (drums). Recorded on Ronnie Lane's Mobile at Clearwell Castle, Gloucestershire, England in September 1974. Digitally remastered by George Marino. Bad Company's second release, STRAIGHT SHOOTER, stays true to the bare-bones flavor of the band's stunning self-titled debut. While the group was one of rock's first supergroups (with members from Free, King Crimson, and Mott the Hoople), Bad Company was the antithesis of the pretentious excess that is usually associated with such formations. STRAIGHT SHOOTER exemplifies the band's no-frills approach: blues-based rock & roll distilled down the bare framework. The album spawned a handful of FM radio staples, starting with "Feel Like Makin' Love," a prototype power ballad that served as a template for a legion of '80s rockers. The wistful "Shooting Star" revealed a softer side to theband's usual hard rock dynamic that was seldom seen but just as effective. The charging "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" was yet a third car radio favorite that further established the band as masters of the art of chugging riffs and firmly ensconced backbeats. The overlooked ballad "Call on Me" closes the album with a gentle vocal by Paul Rodgers, who by this album's release was firmly established as one of the premiere rock vocalists of the '70s. Boheme
Deep Forest: Eric Mouquet, Michel Sanchez. Additional personnel: Marta Sebestyen (vocals). Recorded at EMM Studio. Includes liner notes by Eric Mouquet and Michel Sanchez. BOHEME won a 1996 Grammy Award for Best World Music Album. The two producers who are Deep Forest are folklorists with keyboards and samplers and visions of one world. Instead of traveling back-country roads and recording native singers on their home turf, they comb the world of recorded music and sample the natives; and instead of presenting them as they are, they mix and match them and supply the beats themselves. Following a debut that was based on Pygmy music from Central Africa, BOHEME scansthe landscape of Eastern Europe and Asia for the exotic sounds of throat singing, cantorial chanting and Hungarian folk melodies. Add in ambient dance tracks and keyboards blips, and you have Tuvan techno. The star voice on BOHEME belongs to Transylvanian singer Marta Sebestyen, whose records are sampled on some tracks and who sings directly on others. On "Bulgarian Melody," the producers drop out the beats altogether to showcase her mesmerizing, folk-ish throat singing. "Deep Folk Song" is a sprightly, accordion-based folk dance, spiced with high, otherwordly vocal chants; it tips the balance, momentarily, away from techno and toward the local culture. "Cafe Europa" stretches the album's landscape to include an American Indian chant, and the seamless way it merges into the techno beat suggest Deep Forest's true message: that two very different local cultures might just be parts of one much bigger culture. Great Milenko, The
Insane Clown Posse includes: Mike E. Clark (various instruments); Violent Jay. Additional personnel includes: Alice Cooper, Deb Agoli, Kim Marro (vocals); Legs Diamond (vocals, guitar); Slash, Steve Jones (guitar). Recorded at the Fun House, Detroit, Michigan. The fact that Alice Cooper and Slash make guest appearances on THE GREAT MILENKO should be your first clue that we're not talking high art here. Insane Clown Posse are masters of the cheap laugh; the Howard Sterns of modern rock,or maybe Beavis & Butthead if they finally realized their dreams of rock stardom. Furthering the great American tradition of dress-up trash-rock that made stars of Kiss and Gwar, the Posse offer up a decidedly unwholesome stew of neo-metal guitar, post-Chili Peppers beats and junior high humor that will be the raison d'etre of bratty little brothers everywhere. Evening Of My Best Day, The
Personnel includes: Rickie Lee Jones (vocals, acoustic & elctric guitar, bowed dulcimer, sitar, keyboards, percussion); Eric Benet, Syd Straw (vocals); David Kalish (electric guitar, dobro); Bill Frisell (electric guitar); Martin Tillman (cello); Dan Higgins (tenor saxophone); Jerry Hey (trumpet, flugelhorn); Gary Grant (trumpet); Bill Reichenbach (trombone); Neil Larson (piano); Tony Scherr, Mike Elizondo (bass); James Gadson, Kenny Wollesen (drums); Alex Acuna (percussion). This was set to be an important album for Rickie Lee Jones from the get-go. She had released only two albums of original material in the 1990s, with a six-year gap between the last one and EVENING OF MY BEST DAY. Also, this was her first album for V2 after a live album and a covers disc on Artemis. Fans may rest easy in the knowledge that Jones didn't drop the ball at this crucial juncture; in fact, she runs with it and spikes it in the end zone. This is a solid set of songs with imaginatively affecting arrangements, showcasing Jones's freewheeling style in its best light. The minor-key folkish ballad "Sailor Song" rubs shoulders with the gospel-flavored protest song "Tell Somebody," whose parenthetical title "Repeal the Patriot Act" leaves little room for ambiguity. The chamber-music art song "A Tree on Allenford" shares space with the bluesy stomp of "Mink Coat at the Bus Stop," and the whole thinghangs together in an exceedingly coherent fashion. It makes you think there's something to be said for longevity. SKU: 1087434

Insane Clown Posse: Violent J., Shaggy 2 Dope. Additional personnel includes: Mike E. Clark (various instruments, programming); Rich Murrel (guitar); Eric Hoegemeyer (drums); Twiztid, The Ninja From Millennium Studios, The Rude Boy, Vampiro, The News Guy, Paper Tiger. Producers: Mike E. Clark, Insane Clown Posse. Recorded at Funhouse Studios, Detroit, Michigan; Millennium Studios and Rocky Mountain Studios, Denver, Colorado. In an act of eccentricity usually reserved for artists with a more defined history, Insane Clown Posse released two albums with the same title, a slightly different spelling the only difference between the two (both spellings grammatically incorrect). One-man band Mike E. Clark continues his role as musical mastermind behind ICP, laying down neo-funk grooves and beats while the makeup-clad Clownsattend to the task of offending anyone and everyone in their path on BIZAAR. "Fearless" makes reference to late comedian Sam Kinison in a less than tasteful manner, while "Rainbows & Stuff" features Detroit's own Paper Tiger contributing some chunky guitar riffing.
